The children who received them
We met her mom and she disclosed with Wheels of Peace team that her child woke up at 4AM in the morning. By 5AM, they were walking to school. It took her almost two hours to reach her classroom, but she made that journey because she wanted to learn.
That day, she received a bicycle from Wheels of Peace.
For her, it was more than a bicycle. It meant less time for walking, more time to study and rest, and an easier way to get to school each day safer.
Her determination was already there. The bicycle simply made her journey a little easier.
