Project Bicycle was our beginning, but it is not the end of our journey. As Wheels of Peace grows, we will continue the mission and welcoming support to help students overcome transportation barriers to education.
From Bicycles to Books
Helping a child reach school is only the beginning. Our next project Books to Knowledge. We will focus on helping students reach the success once they are there.
Working with schools, teachers, and community partners in Cambodia, we hope to increase books, school libraries, reading materials that encourage children to read, explore, learn, and imagine the world in front of them.
A bicycle helps a student reach the classroom. A book helps that student discover what is possible beyond it. One provides mobility. The other provides knowledge. Together, they create opportunity.
Bringing Our Mission Home
As our work in Cambodia continues, Wheels of Peace is also preparing to serve communities closer to home. In North Carolina, we are exploring a new initiative to support veterans to reintegrate and achieve self-sufficiency, working alongside veterans and community partners to identify resources, skills, and opportunities that help them move forward.

Wheels of Peace is more than one project, one country, or one solution. A bicycle can help a child reach school. A book can open a world of knowledge. Community support can help a veteran begin a new chapter. Different needs. Different communities. One shared purpose: helping people overcome barriers and move toward opportunity, dignity, and greater self-sufficiency.
